When is the Fair and what are the hours?

The Fair is August 12 - 15, 2026. Buildings and barns are open from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM. Grandstand events last later. Vendor booths will be open 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM.

How much is admission?

To celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we are eliminating admission fees for 2026! The Madison County Fair is FREE for everyone, every day! Come join us at the Fair!

How do I enter something into the Home Arts competitions?

Online entry forms can be found here or you can bring your items to the Fairgrounds on Monday, August 10, 2026 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM or Tuesday, August 11, 2026 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. At 3:00 PM, the doors to Home Arts will be locked and no additional entries will be accepted.

Can I be a vendor this year?

We start taking vendor applications in February and close the applications in May. Watch our Facebook page for more opportunities to be involved in the Fair!
